I'm thrilled to welcome Kristina from City Corporate to Suburb Mama! She's a fabulous gal and I'm sure you'll be all head over heels with her like I am :) Hope you enjoy our little interview below and be sure to hop over to her blog and give her a full "hello" there!
I'm
wife to a wonderful and supportive husband and mami to 3 wonderful
little kiddos, 6, 3 and 1. I left the corporate world when our youngest
was born, to become a stay-at-home mom and my life has never been more
full of adventure! My life-long desire to is to draw closer to the heart
of my Heavenly Father and be the wife and mother he has destined me to
be. Blogging is my outlet in this crazy journey we call life as
well as a great place to document my kids' lives. I'm being honest when I
say those baby books will never get filled out! :)
Favorite {completed} Pinterest project ... That's
a tough one but I think I'd have to say my homemade vanilla extract. So
easy, tasty and cheap!! I actually blogged about it here!
Goal for the upcoming year ... We
will be starting homeschool in the Fall. That in and of itself is a
huge goal, but I also would really like to find a system that keeps me
organized and able to keep track of everything going on in our lives!
Favorite recent mama moment ... As
terrible as it sounds, my trip to the ER with our son, Nicholas. He
fell out of the car and ended up with a concussion...but our time
together (just the two of us) was so sweet and precious. We talked about
a lot of things and I watched him have amazing behavior while we were
stuck there for 6 hours! he's just the sweetest little boy! You can
read more about it here!
Guilty pleasure ... Chocolate and coffee!
I love them both :) Due to diet restrictions lately, chocolate has been
limited so I really enjoy when I indulge! :)
Describe your perfect day ... An adventure with my family. I love it when we take off some
place new and discover a new fun place to play or a new yummy place to
eat. Those memories warm my heart for weeks to come!
Favorite Bible verse ... Philippians
1:6. That verse carried me through our engagement when we were living
in separate countries and it still applies daily in our marriage, family
and ministry!
Most prized household tip ... I'm a multi-tasker, but that sometimes gets me in trouble as I start and try to tackle too many projects at once. I've learned that if I keep my sink empty of dirty dishes and my laundry folded before I take more laundry out of the dryer, my house and sanity stay much more intact! :)
