My Little Man's Mustache Baby Shower

It all begin with these adorable invitations courtesy of Lullaby Loo ...

My dear friend, Leah, stumbled across them and her imagination went wild with the mustache theme for brother. Leah had a little boy last September (and yes, brother, and her son are destined to be best friends), and she is all about finding the super hip things for boys. I'm so blessed that she has gone before me in the land of little men!

Leah whipped up the most fabulous menu along the theme of Little Boy Foods: All Grown Up. We ate yummy chicken nuggets in the form of skewers with cheese and tomato, grilled cheese with havarti and spiced apples, jello pudding, fruit, veggies, mustache carrot cupcakes, and s'mores with chocolate fondue. YUM!

We also played a super fun game which I'll have to share the details of ... it was a hit!

I woke up super late this morning ... thanks to my sweet husband who let me sleep in. But, that also meant I had to get ready super fast! Thankfully, my order from Aleisha of Bliss Baby Designs (who I met at the PNW Blogger Meet Up) arrived yesterday and I threw together a quick outfit with my new necklace as the centerpiece! Don't you love it? I think it has a real Anthro feel :)

I'm kicking myself that I didn't get a picture of Leah and I together! I guess we were having too much fun :) Good thing is that we now live in the same city so we'll have many adventures together this summer. You'll be seeing lots her in the coming weeks I'm sure!
