Wool Giveaway: Muse for Reuse

Tahany of Muse for Reuse shared all about her discovery of wool and now she's here to bless ya'll with a fun giveaway!

Here's a bit more about her shop ...
I have loved creating and working with my hands since I was a child. My parents would remind me that at age 4, I created little flowers out of a continuous spirals of pencil shavings, glue them onto paper. I later went to school for design. I find design, and opportunities to create something new all around me, in everyday life.
At different stages in my life, I make different things. Since having children, I have found a passion for making all their cloth diapers, doublers, and diaper covers. Lucky for me, I learned how to sew at an early age and have been using that particular skill to make everything from curtains for my first apartment, to couch covers, cushions, dresses, and everything in between.
Hopefully, all my future creations will also be as non damaging to our environment as my current ones. All the wool I use is acquired locally when I lived on the east coast and started making diaper covers for my kids a few years ago. After relocating to Hawai'i, I wanted to only sell locally, but found most of my customers were in the northeast and the northwest! I will only be producing my covers until I run out of material. Then on to my next re-use project!
I feel that by using products and materials that already exist, we are taking advantage of those long expended resources to serve a new purpose. It just takes a labor of love and some creative reconstruction.

I am soaking up info here. We were in an apartment when we had our little one... coin laundry down two flights of stairs so we had to use disposable. Now we our in our home and have decided to switch to cloth for the rest of our little ones diaper time (hopefully shorter than longer :) and to have a stash for the net little one. BUT wool - I know nothing. Thanks so much for all the info.

I'm glad you might work wool into your stash - it's super fun and I love that you can upcycle your own with cute sweaters :)
